-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I got my gumstix to be recognised by Linux and it creates a usb0 interface. I want to run dhcp server on this interface to setup the network between the gumstix and the host PC. The problem is that when I unplug the gumstix the usb0 interface dissappears, along with all the settings. How do I set it up so that I can run the dhcp server on that interface? You could use hotpulg to start the DHCP server when the interface appears. Thanks for the information. BTW, when I do the package install of ifplugd within Ubuntu (a debian based distro) I get no debconf questions. Just thought I would let you know to save other users any confusion. If you just follow the rest of the instructions regarding ifplugd it seems to work with no adverse effect!
