I found a simple DHCP server for XP, and its free. Gumstix is automagically
issued an IP address in a range defined in the .ini. The server runs as a
service which means i can run standalone, my laptop and gusmtix and no
router with dhcp service.
Now, the problem i'm having is, i would like my gumstix to be running all
the time and without the need to reboot. How can i get XP to automatically
recognised the usb/gusmtix with having to do a ./S40network restart or
disabled the network device and restarting it in windows.
Checked by AVG anti-virus system (http://www.grisoft.com).

Excellent piece of software. Could you give me details of how your setup
works. I have had mine working, but I am struggling again.
