I noticed some earlier messages on the mailing list that implied that
the Verdex RTC can be used to wake the CPU out of a "suspend to RAM"
state but I have had no luck getting this to work.
I have compiled and run the 'rtctest' program from the kernel
documentation and all RTC features (aside from the read-back of the
wakeup time) work properly. I wrote my own little test program to set
an RTC alarm and wait for the interrupt -- it works just fine.
However, when I suspend the CPU, by writing 'mem' to
'/sys/power/state' after setting the alarm, the interrupt does not
wake the CPU...
