This is my problem too. I have a LCD Pack, and I would like to power it
using some kind ok LiIon o LiPol battery, and also I have to connect a
charger. Didn't measure how much correct the board needs to run with
Ethernet + LCD + Gumstix + MMC + USB Mouse (or keyboard) + WiFi. But I think
it may be a lot! Nearly 1A with everything working.(the Gumstix AC Adaptor
is 5V 1A, and I have the LCD Pack without WiFi + USB Mouse + USB Keyboard +
USB Hub connected with no problem).
So we will need at least 5V @ 1Ah.
It'll be great if we can work together to get a battery configuration /
circuit that helps us to use the gumstix with battery. Mine is not a
wearable computer, but a portable one.
I will look at all these datasheets and see what we can do.
