I'm having some trouble getting the BTUART to work on my Verdex Pro COM (not
the bluetooth version). I'm using a breakout-vx board to access the UARTs
and so far the STUART and FFUART are working fine. However ttyS1, the
BTUART, seems to be mapped to the same pins as the STUART. Using sertest
with ttyS1 and ttyS2 sends data to the STUART pins on the breakout-vx in
both cases. Similarly data sent to the STUART pins can be read on ttyS1 or
All of the GPIOs for the UARTs are configured as listed on the UARTs wiki
page, and i can turn the BTUART pins on and off manually so I know there's
nothing wrong on the hardware end. I've seen some BTUART related posts
about disabling bluetooth, and I just did a rebuild without bluetooth but
still no success.
I'm new to working with linux and embedded systems, so forgive me if I'm
missing something obvious.
Some information from the console:
