I have been struggling with autotools for my
gtk/gstreamer/xoverlay/video4linux application. Everything seams to work
fine on my dev system using:
gcc vidplayr.c -o vidplayr `pkg-config --libs --cflags gtk+-2.0
sudo make install
The problem occurs when I try to bitbake it all with autotools.
The problem is that during bitbake pkg-config cannot find
gstreamer-interfaces-0.10 even though it appears to be installed and shows
in the pkg-config --list-all results.
I get the error:
| No package 'gstreamer-interfaces-0.10' found
| Consider adjusting the PKG_CONFIG_PATH environment variable if you
| installed software in a non-standard prefix.
I think the functions are in libgstinterfaces and that seems to be finding
its way into the tmp/staging folders properly for cross-linking.
The file gstreamer-interfaces-0.10.pc only exists in /usr/lib/pkgconfig when
I do a locate. All the other .pc files show up in the tmp/staging folder
with all the paths remapped to the cross-linking libraries.
If I do: export PKG_CONFIG_PATH=/usr/lib/pkgconfig I still get the same
How can I best troubleshoot this?
Thank you in advance.
