I am a student at Upenn and I am currently working with a kit which has
connex 400Mhz board with Audiostix II and WiFistix. Although the connex
boards are phased out for now I have to work with these boards and implement
NTP clock on the link
to start with. I was reading about buildroot that was used earlier and
openembedded frame works that are currently used but was not able to figure
out which one to use for my project.
I would really appreciate if someone could help me out with that.
A few questions that I was trying to figure out are:
1.Can connex 400 run openembedded? If yes, can it run openembedded with
Audiostix II and Wifistix.
2. Will I be able to find enough documentation on connex with openembedded?
3. On the gumstix buildroot wiki the last buildroot version released was
1642. But, after Gumstix stopped using buildroot there is still a new
version that was just released on June 1st. If I have to use buildroot which
version should I go for.
