I've been trying to connect Nokia N810 device to gumstix through USB
networking for some time now, but have so far had no success. The gumstix
board is either Basix or Connex (I'm not entirely sure since the board isn't
mine, but I know it has the PXA255 processor), and if I understand
correctly, it only supports USB Client mode.
I have set my N810 device as USB Host, but every time I connect it to
gumstix, gumstix says "udc: config change 0b fail -95" twice. Googling the
error doesn't really give that much results, so I'm kinda lost here.
Watching /sys/devices/platform/musb_hdrc/mode reveals that the N810 stays in
mode a_host for 5 seconds or so after connecting the USB, and then changes
to a_suspend. I can't get a ping through to either direction at any time.
Since I'm able to connect other devices to N810 while it's in host mode, I
assume this is a Gumstix problem. I can also successfully connect to both
Gumstix and N810 from my PC through USB-networking.
dmesg on N810 shows two error messages:
rndis_host: probe of 1-1:21.0 failed with error -110
cdc_subset: probe of 1-1:2.1 failed with error -22
lsusb command on N810 shows the gumstix board correctly.
So I'm wondering if anybody would have any idea how to get the networking to
function, any help is greatly appreciated. I'm also happy to provide
additional information if needed.
Thanks in advance
