Hi Andrew The PCA9306 is used on Summit extension board. It is focus on I2C protocol, but probably it works. I think we tried the PCA for non i2c signal without success. The datasheet seems to indicate that they will work for non-I2C and that for isolating high speed and low speed I2C buses it is up to the implementor to properly control the EN signal to isolate the low-speed devices when high speed ones are in use. I definitely not saying you're wrong, and I really appreciate your posting this information, as I'm still in the layout phase (no physical hardware yet). Would you be able to dig through your notes a little more to see if you have more information about this specific issue? |
