So, I guess I lied. Tinyx does build, despite all the warnings and what looked errors in trying to find stddef.h. The "cannot find include file "stddef.h" was in a "makedepend" command, not the actual compile
At least the top level make finally completed and I had a root/user/X11R6/Xfbdev binary. So, I'm thinking I must not have noticed all the warnings and "cannot find include file" messages in the original build.
Sorry for the bad info.
I'm now getting an "impossible constraint in 'asm' when trying to compile listen.c in the vncviewer directory. It's giving this error whenever an FD_ISSET or FD_ZERO macro is seen in the code.
The macro FD_ZERO is defined in staging_dir/include/linux/time.h as __FD_ZERO and FD_ISSET is defined as __FD_ISSET.
I guess those leading underscores mean the macro is defined in the compler environment? I can't find them defined anywhere in the source tree.
