I have controlled servos with the mindstorms stuff. Has anyone used the gumstix to establish a
radio link with servos?

I use the gumstix to control servos indirectly. I decided to use a
microcontroller to perform the actual pwm (Pulse Width Modulation, in
case you didn't know), which is in turn controlled via serial commands
from the gumstix. That's one option. If you want to use software to
control the pwm directly from the gumstix you can see Pascal's awesome
work at: http://perso.wanadoo.fr/pascal.brisset/chromicro/doc/chromicro.ht=
Also, if you search the mailinglist archives you'll probably find some
info using keywords like servo and pwm.
