Hello everyone, Does anyone know if I need to activate the ethernet on a brand new netmicroSD card? I've just started using OE on a brand new netmicroSD+verdex XL6P+consoleLCD16 stack, and it looks like the ethernet is DOA. I plugged in the ethernet cable to it before booting it up, and an ifconfig gives me the UP BROADCAST RUNNING MULTICAST line. My router assigns IPs to my Ubuntu and Fedora boxes with no problem. Do I need to flash another image to it? I can actually access the SD card on the board, but the LEDs on the ethernet adapter don't even light up. I found out about the faulty netmicroSD batch, but both of the chips on mine read WB4245, which should be OK. I just tried two images I built (gumstix-basic-verdex and gumstix-directfb-verdex) and the ethernet is still not working. Can somebody help me diagnose the problem? The ethernet adapter lights are still not lighting up. I did run the directfb demos, and they look great! On my netwifi-sd (simply a net-sd with a wifi module attached) the lights weren't lighting up either, hardware not detecting etc and I got an RMA, working fine now.
