I have a 5.0V 1.0A power supply for my ironstorm and summit. I can connect
using a terminal fine. I've tried hyperterminal and also the arduino IDE's
build in terminal and both worked. When I connect using HDMI to my monitor
however I get lines going across the screen as if it's attempting to
refresh every second.
My first post was somewhat vague now that I see all the others so here's a
little more info.
I have an IronStorm and summit board.
I'm using the preloaded Angstrom image but I'm pretty sure it's the most
My laptop works with HDMI on my monitor so I know it's not the monitor.
The gumstix itself connects fine with my desktop through a terminal.
I've checked voltages across the barrel jack (both sides and while plugged
in) and it is at a consistant 4.8-5.0 volts.
Here is an example of what it displays, though it's not always the same.
Reading on other people's issues with HDMI it seems like it could
(hopefully) be a setting like resolution or old drivers.
My monitor can go up to 1920x1080 and it auto changes, not sure how to
manually change it.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
