>From the PXA270 docs at http://pubs.gumstix.com/documents/PXA%20Documentation/PXA270/ it looks like the PXA270 has an I2S controller on it yet I don't see any mention of it in the Verdex documentation. Does the Verdex bring out the I2S pins at all? I can't seem to find the schematics for the Verdex so I can't tell if these pins simply aren't used, or they are being overloaded for something else. What I'm really trying to do is connect a specific ADC to the Verdex and the ADC only speaks I2S (well, it speaks SPI for configuration but only passes data via I2S). Any info/comments would be appreciated! -- Kyle |

Just to clarify I do mean I2S and not the similarly named I2C. Looking at the 60-pin connector, it looks like I have all I need for I2S if I set the PXA270 up as a Slave device, and the ADC as the Master that provides BITCLK: Pin# Verdex ADC -------------------------------- 5 GPIO30 SDATA_OUT 43 GPIO29 SDATA_IN 46 GPIO31 SYNC 58 GPIO28 BITCLK Has anyone tried to run the PXA270 in I2C-Slave mode? Has anyone tried I2S on the Verdex at all? Thanks again! -- Kyle |
