Hello everybody, at the moment I am building a micro computer using the XL6P and the netCF-vx. For the design detailed 3D models would help very much. So far I just found the Google Sketchup files, which I cannot import to Autodesk Inventor. Does anybody here have models in a different, more common format? Or does anybody know how to convert the Sketchup files into step, iges, ipt or whatever? I encountered the same problem. Apparently the "Pro" version of sketchup allows for conversion to other formats. I didn't want to pay hundreds of dollars for a one-time conversion. I created crude models, i.e. rectangular solids, of the XM4, NetwifimicroSD, and robostix using Alibre. Alibre can output in STEP and IGES, but those aren't the boards you need. I also don't know how accurate my models are. I used Gumstix's 2D information, which is incomplete and appears not to match the boards in all dimensions (one of the holes doesn't match), and liberal use of a digital caliper. ----------------------------------------------------- Jay Phillips Tronix LLC - http://tronixllc.com -----Original Message----- From: gum...@li...
