I'm a new Gumstix user, and fairly new to Linux too. So I have been trying
to jumpstart my project by using the pre-built images. My problem is that
the Trendnet TEW-424UB, which works fine on the factory installed NAND image
(2.6.27) stops working when I try booting from SD with image 0.92 (2.6.29).
Everything else is fine. I have to tell you that I've spent much of a week
trying to troubleshoot this, and I've learned quite a bit about Linux in the
process, but no matter what the settings or scripts it refuses to work.
Ifconfig wlan0 shows UP MULTICAST but not RUNNING no matter what I do. Also,
Iwconfig shows 1MB instead of the expected 54MB rate.
So now I have to ask: Is this a know issue, with or without a known
solution? And if It is a known issue, is there a patch or workaround? Does
is work in 2.6.28?
