I thought someone here might find this interesting... Here's a picture.
http://www.cs.utah.edu/~tew/pen/pen_dev.jpg

We're building a tablet for a school project.   The screen's from a Gateway
M275 TabletPC (14" 1024x768). Gumstix can drive it in 8-bit color ok,
although heavy mem operations (big DMA transfers) can sometimes give it
trouble.  It chokes trying to push out 16bit color. That's a Nexcom
EBK-LVDS2 module in between, to convert TTL to LVDS.   A Wacom digitizer
(for pen input) is read by the HWUART. We chucked Linux altogether and wrote
everything from scratch, booting from MMC... it turned out to be easier that
way for us.

Anyways... that's all I've got.  I like seeing what others are doing with
their 'stix, so I thought I'd show off a bit ;)
