Hi Ash,

I am using the microSD card as the rootfs, so yes Linux recognises it.
It is just u-boot that doesn't, and that is just for the 8gb card.
U-boot sees the 2gb cards just fine.
For whatever reason u-boot behaved in the same manner on my Openmoko Freerunner.

I would post the card details anyway, but I don't have access to the building
over the weekend yet, so I will post those details on Monday.

You mention that the microSD card is not recognized from u-boot.  Is
the card recognized from linux once booted?  Even if you can't mount
the card, can you try printing out the card information (either from
the gumstix or from a linux machine)?
