hello all,
I use the overo air and summit,boot from mmc.I want to use the ttyS0 and ttyS2 for my work, but ttyS2 now is the console port.
how to free it? I have found some informationg for this on internet as follow:
http://docwiki.gumstix.org/index.php/Tips_and_tricks
I tried the method on that web page but it doesn't work.
I write as follow
overo# setenv bootargs console=null root=1f02 rootfstype=jffs2 reboot=cold,hard
overo# setenv silent true
overo# saveenv

and then boot,

kernel command line shows:
Overo # printenv
bootcmd=if mmc init; then if run loadbootscript; then run bootscript; else if run loaduimage; then run mmcboot; else run nandboot; fi; fi;
 else run nandboot; fi
