One more pretty important piece of information: my roboaudiostix works fine. No changes to the OE system, on boot it gets detected and I can play mp3s and everything. It's the audiostix2 in the exact same configuration that doesn't work.

Do I have to tweak the OE config to get the audiostix2 to work or is my (just purchased) audiostix2 broken? The green light does go on when it's powered up.

Programs like mpg123 say no such card:

Same with alsamixer:

There's a long thread here earlier this year with similar problems but they claim everything is resolved.

Any ideas?
