I am a newbie to the world of gumstix but I'm really excited about getting started.  I received my first Gumstix package last month, a robostix connex wifi pack.  I put it all together and powered it up but have so far been unable to initiate communications with the system.  I am using Ubuntu latest edition with a wireless card on the computer.  On the gumstix wiki, the documentation says that I need to download a DHCP server for my Ubuntu system and use that to talk to the gumstix.  Unfortunately, I'm not sure quite how to do this (use the server that is, I have already downloaded it).  The more in depth page on networking with the gumstix doesn't seem to have any information on how to talk to the gumstix wirelessly.  I only have the wifistix card and there is no other way to communicate (that I know of) with the system except through that wireless card.  I have spent hours trying to dig up information on how to do this but as yet to no avail.  If anyone can point me in the right direction, either with a web page that explains how to get in touch with my gumstix using Ubuntu Linux, or by just letting me know directly how this is done I would appreciate it a lot.  If you know how to do it with a Microsoft OS, that would be helpful as well.
Anyway, thank you for taking your time to read through my question and I hope to hear from you soon,
