I'm trying to set up iptables on an OVERO AIR in order to implement a custom NAT implementation.  I'm using a custom Angstrom image based on the omap3-console-image that includes the 'iptables' package.  This custom image builds successfully, but does not appear to include the kernel modules (ip_tables, etc.) necessary for iptables to run.  Inspection shows that there is indeed no 'netfilter' directory in /lib/modules/2.6.33/kernel/net/ipv4 as I would expect.  This leaves me with the following questions:

  1. Has anyone been able to get iptables running on an OVERO console image?
  2. Is there a bitbake package to make and install the required kernel modules?

I'm reasonably adept at Linux configuration, but I'm still learning my way around the OpenEmbedded build system and available bitbake packages.  If anyone has any helpful hints they can contribute to my efforts, I'd be most grateful.
