It does not appear there is any eth0 installed on this version of Angstrom. Perhaps it wasn't compiled into the kernel?

Additionally when I type ifconfig all that it says is lo for the network device.

how do I get the right network device into the build?

Thanks

dhclient {devicename}

use ifconfig to find your device names

for example:

dhclient eth0

for the ethernet device (sometimes it is eth1)

Does anyone know how to run the dhclient?

(I'm running Angstrom Console)

I have tried several things:

1) I went to /sbin and typed ./dhclient-script

2) tried ./dhclient

3) tried dhclient at command line (since it is in the sbin dir)

Result:

No broadcast interfaces found - exiting.

4) I tried dhclient --help but no results.

Does anyone know how to either declare the hardware to use or install/
enable it I am tying to get the ethernet and wifi working.

Thanks
