I needed some help in being able to see my console output (after the root login) on a different UART in addition to the default (which is ttyO2).
If I add the following line in /etc/inittab it is able to throw all the console output to UART1 or ttyO1:
original: S:1345:respawn:/sbin/getty 115200 ttyS2
modified to: S:1345:respawn:/sbin/getty 115200 ttyS1
However, is there any way to get the console output via both ttyO2 (default) and also ttyO1? For example, I am able to access the gumstix via both USB serial connection and also via SSH (ethernet) all happening simultaneously. Hence, I assume two UARTs should also be possible.
fyi, I did try adding both these lines but that did not help:
S:1345:respawn:/sbin/getty 115200 ttyS2
S:1345:respawn:/sbin/getty 115200 ttyS1
Thank you for your help
