I have a Gumstix overo with the pansenti-console-image. I use the overo to control a quadrotor with my own application written in c.

Currently I use the itimer and SIGALARM to make my control task periodic. it works but I would like to perform other task with a faster frequency as 10kHz, and itimers give not enough precision.

Do you know how I can achieve accurate timing to perform task faster than 10kHz?
