They weren't in the [danny] or [denzil] branches.

Shouldn't these go somewhere other then the MACHINE configuration file?
Maybe conf/local.conf.sample or a new distro.conf if that's the intent.

As the names indicate, they are really DISTRO features not MACHINE features.

They make it hard to build a *sysvinit* system using meta-gumstix.
