Hi Chris, can you take a look at https://github.com/gumdroid/manifest
It is Android Jellybean build for Gumstix Pepper SBC. Most notably it has SGX (hardware acceleration) so it looks pretty good.
Stay tuned for updates on Overo and Duovero. It would be also nice if we can get some community help on this project.

Thank you!

Hi all,

Does anyone have information regarding the status of the gumdroid project?

I have been following the instructions at http://wiki.gumstix.org/index.php?title=Android_Source but there are various problems starting with out-of-date git repositories.

I did manage to build most components through various hacks, but unsurprisingly the system will not boot.

I have also had no luck booting the prebuilt images from here: http://cumulus.gumstix.org/images/android/current/

In both cases I have been creating my sdcard with utils/mkandroidsd and using MLO and u-boot.img from the yocto project, which I have been using successfully to boot poky.

I will be glad to provide additional details if there is anyone out there who can help.
