I think Adam committed a .bbappend file to fix the kmod problem, but it seems the repo config file didn't get updated to point to the new commit. 

Thus, users are still going to hit the problem if they follow the standard build procedure.

I think I submitted a pull request for this, but I may have missed something.

I have problems building gumstix-basic-image

First, I've had to change the git repo for the kmod recipes
second had to remove the do_configure_prepend() section because bitbake was complaining that it was not able to touch a file.
then, had to remove the patch information and finally the system complains about the md5 that has changed.

Using the COPYING file asked in the recipes to add the md5 information bitbake tells me, each time I change the COPYING file, the md5 will also change ...

Anyone else got this error and knows how to solve it ? it seems to be a few month old unpatched problem.
