Hi Everyone

The product code found on the white label of each Overo COM can be broken out into three sections.

e.g. the three sections of the product code GS3703FE are defined as "GS", "3703" and "FE".

1/ "GS"  = This GS prefix indicates an Overo Gumstix COM board, only.

2/ Only "3503" or "3703" can appear in the middle section of the product code for an Overo COM.

"3503" shows that the Overo COM has been populated with either the OMAP3503 processor or the OMAP3530 processor, with commercial or extended temperature rated components.
eg Overo FE COM (GS3503FE), Overo Sand COM (GS3503S) etc.

"3703" indicates that the Overo COM has been populated with either the AM3703 processor or the DM3730 processor, with commercial or extended temperature rated components.
eg The Overo IronSTORM COM (GS3703FE),  Overo SandSTORM COM (GS3703S) etc.

Note that the product code stays as "3503" even when the Overo COM has an OMAP3530 processor and stays as "3703" even when the Overo COM has been populated with a DM3730 processor.

3/ "FE"   =  The suffix of the product code combined with the middle numeric defines each individual Overo COM.

eg. "3703" combined with the suffix "FE" defines an Overo IronSTORM COM (GS3703FE).

e.g. "3503" combined with the suffix of "FE" defines an Overo FE COM (GS3503FE).

etc.
