I was able to build the library as well. The issues are in actually flashing the robovero.  I get output from the crosstool gdb as follows:

So I was able to get crosstool-ng-1.13.3 to build on my ubuntu 10.10
laptop, and was able to use that toolchain to build the LPC17000CMSIS
libray.
Is 1.13.3 the latest version?

I had to install texinfo and python2.6-dev in addition to the other
packages which were listed.
