Just a note to the mailing list. While it seems that at many times “you are on your own” with this hardware, I want to commend Gumstix and the list for prompt resolution of a recent Bluetooth hardware issue. My RMA was handled with prompt courteous attention and my replacement hardware arrived in a timely manner. However, without the list’s help, I would not have been able to diagnose the problem as quickly.
The replaced hardware seems to be operating fine now. So now it is back to discovering some more “operator errors”. Thanks again.
