I know I'll eventually be needing iptables in my build, but I've been putting off looking into it. Thanks for the reminder.

I was able to get it in by simply adding "iptables" into the list of tools in the image's recipe. (overo-oe/org.openembedded.dev/recipes/images/<imagename>.bb) I've confirmed that I can boot with this image and use iptables. FYI, I'm working off the minimal image Scott Ellis has referenced in the past.

I'm currently trying to compile the overo kernel to include the ip_tables
modules, and by following the steps in the script linked to below (the paths
have changed, and bitbake -c menuconfig no longer works so I can't just use
the script) I've managed to get the kernel to compile and if I look in the
tarball generated the ip tables modules are there.  However,  when trying to
boot the kernel I get as far as "Starting kernel..." and then it just hangs.
Does anyone have any ideas why this is happening, or could anyone provide me
with a kernel with it build it?
Thanks in advance for your help
