While attempting create a new buildroot (i.e. r1318) that includes the 'netsnmp' package, the following patch error occured:

   >toolchain/patch-kernel.sh /home/wsn/build_env/gumstix/build_arm_nofpu/net-snmp-5.1.2 package/netsnmp/ netsnmp\*.patch

   >Applying netsnmp.patch using plaintext:

   >Hunk #1 FAILED at 286.
   >1 out of 1 hunk FAILED -- saving rejects to file agent/mibgroup/host/hr_system.c.rej
   >patching file configure.in
   >Hunk #1 succeeded at 2019 (offset 154 lines).
   >Patch failed!  Please fix netsnmp.patch!

Here's the 'reject' file that was created (hr_system.c.rej):

  >***************
  >*** 286,292 ****
  >               current user */
  >            if (kill(utmp_p->ut_pid, 0) == -1 && errno == ESRCH) {
  >                utmp_p->ut_type = DEAD_PROCESS;
  >                pututxline(utmp_p);
  >                continue;
  >            }
  >            ++total;
  >--- 286,296 ----
  >               current user */
            if (kill(utmp_p->ut_pid, 0) == -1 && errno == ESRCH) {
  >                utmp_p->ut_type = DEAD_PROCESS;
  >+ #if HAVE_UTMPX_H
  >                pututxline(utmp_p);
  >+ #else
  >+               pututline(utmp_p);
  >+ #endif
  >                continue;
  >            }
  >            ++total;
I was able to update the patch file and to get the build to complete successfully, however I really don't know if what I did was correct.  So I won't bore you with those details here.
