Hmm, that could easily be, as I was indeed basing my observation on the fact that I saw kernel source 2.6.31-r5 being downloaded. I decided to let the build continue anyway and it's still ongoing, so I'll just wait for it to finish and see.

I was wrong: It did compile the correct kernel version (as I wrote in my
second post). It was just simply misleading that the build process checked
out a kernel version that had nothing to do neither to the target kernel
version neither to the build platform. It might be the case for you too.

The oe things are good (or was good 2 weeks ago). The only part I could not
make work is the ti-dsp and gles parts (but I haven't tried hard enough yet
:) )
