is your wifi connected? if it is you can find your ip address by running ifconfig on your gumstix. then on ubuntu run "ssh root@ip" (assuming you kept the default username). just make sure your on the same subnet on the gumstix and the host.
if the wifi is not connected when you run ifconfig you won't see an ip (127.0.0.1,lo deosn't count) and thats what you have to solve.

Topic: SSH to Gumstix

I have had trouble connecting to my gumstix overo fire via ssh. I am running Ubuntu 10.04 and have tried multiple ways on how to ssh to my gumstix through wireless. I am new to the gumstix and the linux OS. Does anyone know the steps to connecting through ssh wirelessly to the gumstix? I have tried multiple forums online but nothing seems to work.

Thanks
