If you are using an OMAP to bit-bang PWM, you're doing many things very wrong.

interrupt 100 times a second to service a servo well.  You output a
pulse of varying length every 20ms.  This is completely doable without
using the PWM module; in fact, some older PWM modules can't achieve a
50 Hz period, as they are more well-tuned for 30-50 kHz control.
