Some weeks ago i talk to one of the driver developer, on that moment he stated that the driver is not reporting the stats (and specific details) to the kernel, so there's a lot of missing information at user space level when invoking ifconfig to check details... so i see two things to do here:

1) Add "report stats" to the driver
2) Document how to compile the driver with Gumstix kernel
