I am on .36 and just enabled it in the Kernel. But I am using 8187L, I have 3 on my device. I also did not use the recipie from OE for it, wrote my own.

The realtek 8192 drivers appear to need some functions renamed in one of
the files, will try and get that done tomorrow.  The rt3070 recipe does
not compile either, but the .38 kernel has support for it if you enable
it in the staging drivers section, and copy the firmware file from the
ratech site to /lib/firmware/rt3070.bin
For some reason though, if you have wlan0 and wlan1 entries in
/etc/network/interfaces, it uses the wlan1 configuration instead of
wlan0, which is not good when you are trying to get two WiFi cards
working at the same time.
