I custom a gumstick expansion board and I want to use for the Lan9221 an Oscillator supplied with 1.8V.

I let free pin 54 of the lan9221 and remove R4, R7 and C37.

Can you teel me if it’s a good idea or not?

Philip, Do you have try the 93AA76C with link pin 7 and 8 and link pin 6 and 5 (8 bit, programmable)?

Thanks for your help.

Best regards,

Hi Philip

Gumstix is using the 93AA46A not the 93AA76C.

We'll update the documentation at pubs.gumstix.com.

It looks like at least some schematics for the gumstix boards say the
EEPROM attached to the LAN 9221 that is a 93AA76C, but the boards
actually use the 93AA46A part. Our experience is the 93AA76C part does
not work. Any have anymore insight? Should the schematics be corrected?
