I am interested in getting a JTAG to debug/reflash my gumstix if they ever decide to fail again.  I've got a tweener, but it's not exactly wonerful trying to get connections to run to the small vias.  Has there been any consideration for making a JTAG board that would include a very easy way to connect a jtag to the gumstix? So that there were wires or aligator clips coming off of it?  Something like this would be very useful.

Can I extract jtag signals from waysmall - STUART in similar way to tweener board?

Not easily -- the reason it's doable on the tweener is that every signal on the connector passes through the board on the tweener, to get from one connector to the other -- so there's a via for each signal.  The waysmall doesn't bring any signals that it doesn't need off the connector at all; so the only way to do it with a waysmall board would be to solder wires onto the tiny pitch of the connector pins themselves, which would take a much steadier hand and finer control of molten solder than I'm capable of...
