I am trying to replace my filesystem on my new waysmall 200. I would like to flash from the MMC that came with my student kit. U-Boot gives:

U-Boot 1.1.4 (May 23 2006 - 12:47:17)

GUM> fatls mmc 1
No Fat FS detected

According to this email <http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.distributions.gumstix.general/18178/match=fat+fs+detected > I need to upgrade my U-Boot version. Is this correct, or is there another fix?

I have only seen <http://article.gmane.org/gmane.linux.distributions.gumstix.general/217/match=upgrade+u+boot > as a guide to upgrade U-Boot:

# flashcp -v u- boot.bin.r48-200MHz /dev/mtd1

I have a new version of U-Boot that I created with Buildroot revision 1210. I tried usind flashcp to replace my boot loader:

# flashcp -v u-boot.bin /dev/mtd1
Erasing blocks: 1/2 (50%)

It obviously didn't work, but I didn't brick my device. What do I need to do to get my new u-boot.bin loaded?

Thanks in advance,
