Does anyone use a serial port program with Vista?

Hyperterm (which sucks) no longer comes with windows.  You can download it, and it works.  I guess.

But there has to be something better, right? (6 trillion users and not a single decent, free serial program?) On the wiki there is a reference to minicom on windows.  I've google a lot for it, but I haven't found anything. (there is a KVM switch, or something similar, and another communications software with the same name, not to mention all the linux hits).

It doesn't have to be to fancy, but something a little better than hyperterm would be nice.

I boot linux when have to do some serious work, but rebooting is too much of a deterrent for a few minutes of procrastination here and there.
