I'd put a big ole gigabyte sized file on it, and get onto some other computer and ftp that big honking file from your wifistix board to the other system and measure power consumption then.  Then I'd simply disable the wifi and measure it again.

Good luck.

I am using connex 400xm and wifistix-cf FCC for data processing and transmission. I am planning to measure the power consumption of the two boards when wifi is transmitting data and wifi not transmitting. How can I achieve this, any ideas?
