Thanks for the help, Jozsef. I did the following:

$ rm -rf build_arm_nofpu/root;
$ rm -f rootfs.arm_nofpu.jffs2 u-boot.bin uImage
$ make clean

And I got this output-

make -j3 -C /home/dante/gumstix/gumstix-buildroot/toolchain_build_arm_nofpu/ccache- 2.4 uninstall
make [1]: Entering directory '/home/dante/gumstix/gumstix-buildroot/toolchain_build_arm_nofpu/ccache-2.4'
make [1]: *** No rule to make target 'uninstall'. Stop.
make [1]: Leaving directory '/home/dante/gumstix/gumstix-buildroot/toolchain_build_arm_nofpu/ccache- 2.4'
make: *** [ccache-clean] Error 2

Is there anything else I need to change before trying a 'make' again?

do an 'rm -rf build_arm_nofpu/root; rm -f rootfs.arm_nofpu.jffs2
u-boot.bin uImage; make clean', before do the 'make' of the buildroot.
