Hi Harry,

When I do "scp -c none" I get the following error:

No valid ciphers for protocol version 2 given, using defaults.

Is there a way around this problem?  Also, how do I enable the "none" cipher on the server?

I tried using blowfish-cbc and it is faster, but not fast enough for my purposes.

You can disable the encryption on scp by allowing the "none" cipher in both
server and client. It still encrypts your password, but the data transfer is
a lot faster. You could also try faster ciphers; I've found blowfish to be
much faster than aes.
