Since quite some time I activated cpu-freq in the kernel (v3.6) and installed the corresponding cpu-freq tools. It seems that I can clock both my OVEROs as well as the DuoVero at 1 GHz, at least that's what cpu-freq tells me:
$ cat /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu0/cpufreq/cpuinfo_cur_freq
1000000

When I do benchmarking I can clearly see the performance increasing between 300 MHz (governer: powersave) and 1 GHz (governer: performance) with the same factor of approx. 3.3. Besides it seems to work stable until now, I never had any troubles or crashes in 1 GHz mode. Huray!
Has anybody else already had some experience with using the 1 GHz mode in this setup (Overo/DuoVero @ kernel version 3.6)?

Btw.: I recently discovered a "omap-3.0-abb" branch in your kernel repo, is this already working? Or is it the branch which is still missing those ABB patches from TI?

Cheers
Phil

Be very nice to have some feedback. I know midway through last year that
there were some ABB patches floating about that promised and did not
deliver. Any movement since then?
I am still waiting for working ABB patches from TI . . .
