Hi Scott,

I tried to build qt4e-base-image from the new pulled version of overo repo.

commit 19c8bc28a2b49284bed208f7f2177131ab25f4ec
Author: Neil MacMunn <neil@gumstix.com>
Date:   Thu Feb 3 08:32:19 2011 -0800

Added 2.6.36 recipe. Patched u-boot to make gpio10 gpio rather than clock output. Changed the location of Rosetta.

I am getting same device table conf file problem stated. Is there any working version of qt4e-base-image avaialbe in overo repo.
If so, Please share the commit version of that.

Is there any hacks available to bypass this problem and getting qt4 build. ?

Thanks and regards,

Hi Ananth,

I sometimes see this device_table mismatch error when the kernel I've built
and the modules the image wants to install are out of sync. For example the
image recipe calls for kernel module package but I specified that module be
built into the kernel. I think the kernel module name gets into the error
message in that case though. Not exactly what you are seeing.
Maybe this is a clue.
