I've configured and installed it on a Gumstix acting as a wireless access point, but haven't had time to get the actual settings setup correctly.

Hi Shai,

I want to install a dhcp server on the gumstix. In other words, I want
the gumstix to be able to automatically allocate an IP address for
another machine.

It this possible? any recommendations?

According to the BusyBox documentation:
http://www.busybox.net/downloads/BusyBox.html

There is a dhcp server included (search for dhcp - you should find udhcpd).

I haven't used it, but it seems like a good place to start.
