Hello,

I am using a Overo Gumstix board on top of a tobi base board running Angstrom linux.  I would like the USB OTG port to be configured as a USB serial device such that it appears as a USB CDC ACM when connected to a Linux box.

When I run

modprobe g_serial use_acm=1

I  get “error inserting g_serial no such device”

g_serial.ko is on the system so this kernel module should be loaded.

When I run dmesg, I see a MUSB HDRC and also a EHCI device but nothing about serial devices.

When I look at the OMAP_3530 processor spec it shows an OTG controller module.

Has anyone done this before? What am I missing?

Any thoughts on how to proceed ?
