Duh!!!  Thank you David!  Adding the subnet range to ZoneAlarm on the Windows side did the trick.

Just a quick guess on this one - have you checked your windows firewall settings?

Subject: [Gumstix-users] Question re: Ping over bluetooth

Hi,

I have set up wireless networking over the Bluetooth connection on my 400.  When I log in to the 400 over putty and ping my Windows XP system, I get the following:

# ping 192.168.10.1 < http://192.168.10.1>

PING 192.168.10.1 ( 192.168.10.1): 56 data bytes

--- 192.168.10.1 ping statistics ---
4 packets transmitted, 0 packets received, 100% packet loss

However, I am able to ping the 400 from my Windows XP all day long.

uname output:

Linux gumstix 2.6.10gum #1 Fri Mar 4 15:03:34 PST 2005 armv5tel unknown

Thanks in advance -

Todd

PS: I am a newbie w/ gumstix, but experienced in Linux - thanks.
